About

How I work

I like building software that real people use. My favourite part of the job isn’t writing the code, it’s watching someone try what I built for the first time, seeing what they like and where they get stuck, and then fixing it. I enjoy talking to the people I’m building for and I believe the best product decisions usually come from a conversation, not a spec.

Most of what I build is end to end. I’ll take something from a rough idea to a first version, put it in front of people early, and keep iterating once it’s live. I care about the details users notice, like how fast something feels, whether it’s obvious what to do next, and whether it still works when real data shows up.

Outside of work

I'm a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs and Raptors fan, and I play hockey and basketball too. I also enjoy travelling, taking photos, playing guitar, and trying new restaurants.
